Private astrology readings

Start with the question you need answered.

My private readings are individually researched and written. I study the chart as a connected structure, identify the patterns carrying the most weight, and then examine the timing that activates them.

The reading you choose depends on the scale of the question. Some establish the architecture of your birth chart. Others concentrate on one active period, a year ahead, a longer cycle of growth or the question of where to live.

Astrology research

The chart is one scale. History is another.

A large part of my work follows astrology beyond the individual birth chart. I study planetary cycles through history, national charts, economics, politics, cultural change and the evolution of collective ideas.

I am especially interested in recurrence. A planetary configuration can return centuries later into a completely different world while producing a recognisable symbolic problem. Following those repetitions is one of the ways I test and refine astrological ideas.

My research includes historical astrology, mundane astrology, civilisational astrology, national charts and long-range planetary cycles. These subjects also inform the way I think about timing in individual charts.

Much of this work eventually becomes long-form writing in The Treasury, where I can follow a pattern in enough detail to show how the argument develops.

The Treasury

The Treasury is my ongoing astrology publication. I write about current planetary shifts, personal timing, historical cycles and the symbolic patterns appearing in culture as they develop.

Some pieces begin with a transit happening now. Others follow a planetary cycle through decades or centuries. The common thread is a desire to understand how separate events belong to a larger pattern and what changes when the timing moves forward.

Pattern recognition sits at the centre of my work.

I am an astrologer and writer whose interests extend through history, literature, music, philosophy and symbolic research. Astrology became a way of bringing those interests into contact with one another.

I learned by following patterns across charts and across time. I became interested in what repeats, what changes when context changes, and what becomes more convincing when several independent parts of a chart point towards the same underlying structure.

That habit of looking for connections shapes my private work as much as my historical research. I want an interpretation to explain why several pieces belong together and what becomes important when timing brings that structure forward.
