My education in astrology was largely self-directed. I began with my
own chart, then moved outward into the charts of people whose lives
gave me enough information to compare symbolism with events that had
actually happened.
I wanted to understand why the same transit could describe different
outcomes, when a natal promise became active, how house rulership
changed the meaning of a planet, and which timing techniques remained
useful when tested against a real chronology.
That curiosity led me into predictive astrology. Transits, solar
returns, annual profections, Zodiacal Releasing, electional astrology
and relocation became working methods rather than subjects to
memorise.
Over time, the question became less about what one placement means in
isolation and more about what happens when several parts of a chart
begin describing the same underlying structure.
